Terms of Service

These terms apply to OpenWebhook's free inspector and paid Pro features.

1. Operator and agreement

OpenWebhook is operated by David Lorenzo García, NIF 12395061Q, Urbanización Espejo del Mar, 04002 Almería, Spain. By using the service you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. Contact support@openwebhook.co.

2. The service

The free inspector provides temporary, real-time webhook relay with browser-local history. Pro adds custom endpoints, multiple remote forwarding destinations, API tokens, CLI access and a local MCP server. Payloads are not retained in a durable server-side history.

Forwarding is best-effort. Requests can be dropped when a client is offline, a destination fails, capacity limits are reached, or the service restarts. OpenWebhook is a debugging tool, not a guaranteed delivery queue or production message broker.

3. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate account information, protect passwords and API tokens, and promptly revoke credentials you believe are exposed. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and configured destinations.

4. Acceptable use and fair use

You may not use OpenWebhook for phishing, credential collection, malware, unlawful surveillance, denial-of-service activity, unsolicited messaging, access to private networks, or processing data you are not authorized to handle. “Unlimited” custom URLs are subject to reasonable fair-use, rate, fan-out, payload-size and safety limits designed to protect all users.

We may throttle, disable destinations, suspend accounts or remove endpoints where needed to prevent abuse, security incidents or material harm. We will provide notice where reasonably possible.

5. Pricing, taxes and renewal

Pro costs €5 monthly, €50 annually or €100 for lifetime access, plus applicable taxes calculated at checkout. Recurring plans renew automatically until canceled through the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewal and access continues through the paid period unless the account is suspended for abuse.

6. Lifetime access

“Lifetime” means personal, non-transferable access to the Pro service for as long as OpenWebhook continues to operate that service. It does not mean the purchaser's lifetime and does not guarantee that every feature will remain unchanged forever. If an active subscriber buys lifetime access, it starts immediately and the existing subscription is set not to renew after its current paid period.

7. Refunds and withdrawal rights

You may request a refund for a first Pro purchase within 14 days by emailing support. We may take account of service already supplied where permitted by law. Renewals and later purchases are normally non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Fraud, duplicate charges and service faults will be reviewed individually. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights.

8. Availability and liability

The service is provided without an uptime or delivery guarantee. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OpenWebhook is not liable for indirect loss, lost payloads, destination failures, lost profits or business interruption. Mandatory liability that cannot legally be excluded remains unaffected.

9. Termination and changes

You may stop using the free service or cancel Pro at any time. We may change the service or these terms with reasonable notice for material changes. Spanish law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their country of residence.
